Tim is responsible for directing the attraction, development and retention of Newland’s team members who make up one of the most experienced and innovative teams in real estate today. In addition to the compensation and benefits functions, Tim advises management in policy and program matters, effective organization structure and strategies to improve organizational and team member performance. He also oversees the development and delivery of training and education programs for the company.
Throughout his career Tim has held numerous positions in the areas of labor relations, employee relations, executive search, and as a human resources generalist. Prior to joining Newland, Tim was the Director, Human Resources for Dallas-based developer Terrabrook. Before this he served various Human Resources positions in professional services and operations companies.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
