Vicki provides the strategic leadership and management of Newland's financial operations.  She oversees capital management, financial planning and reporting, investor relations, accounting, tax, information systems, and risk management functions within the company.  Vicki is Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Executive Committee which are responsible for providing strategic direction for the company's existing funds and projects as well as new business opportunities.

Prior to joining Newland, Vicki was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Prometheus Real Estate Group, an owner, manager and developer of multifamily and commercial real estate. She was responsible for overseeing operational, development, financial and human resource functions.  Vicki also held the position of Vice President of Finance and Accounting at The Irvine Company, a diversified real estate company, where her responsibilities included overseeing the financial operations of apartment and condominium development, management and sales.  Prior to that, Vicki served as Audit Manager at Ernst & Young in their Newport Beach, CA office.   

Vicki graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed California Real Estate Broker.  Vicki is a member of Urban Land Institute's Community Development Council and past member of both the Multifamily and Residential Councils.
