David Brentlinger, Vice President of Operations for the Portland market, has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of community design, development, and financing. David oversees the development of Reed’s Crossing, leading a multi-disciplinary team to research development opportunities, complete land planning and sales, oversee finances, uncover commercial opportunities, and work with partners, builders and other stakeholders.
As part of his real estate career, David was the General Manager of Northwest Landing, a 3,000-acre, award-winning community with a mix of residential, commercial, industrial and recreational uses, located near Tacoma, Washington. David guided a new Comprehensive Plan for the community covering a 640-acre hazardous waste remediation area and served as the President of the Home Owners’ Association. In addition to Northwest Landing, David was responsible for operations, finance, and marketing for Snoqualmie Ridge, a 2,000-acre community near Seattle, Washington as part of Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors, a private equity firm that provided mezzanine debt and equity to small and medium-sized builders in nine states.
David holds a BA from Stanford, an MIA from Columbia University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
