Nick comes to Newland with more than two decades of experience in residential master-planned and resort community experience. In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Nick will oversee the Wilmington market, seeking development opportunities, managing the growth of Riverlights, and developing relationships with builders, partners, and other stakeholders.
Before joining Newland, Nick was the President/General Manager for Greenlife Development in Evansville, IN, where he was responsible for the planning and design, community program development, entitlements and permitting, and securing public-private partnership commitments. During his lengthy tenure with The St. Joe Company, Nick was responsible for an extensive portfolio of mixed-use projects and home building operations. He was proudly part of the team that introduced several quality master-planned communities in Northwest Florida. While in a leadership position at The Ford Plantation, Nick managed a community re-launch for the sporting club community.
Nick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida – Warrington College of Business and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has also been a program presenter at ASLA and ULI.
