Tim Durie leads the development of employees who make up one of the most experienced and innovative teams in real estate today. He advises management in strategy, policy and program matters, effective organization structure, and opportunities to improve organizational and team member performance. He also oversees the development and delivery of training and education programs for Newland.
Throughout his career, Tim has held numerous positions in the areas of labor relations, employee relations, executive search, and as a human resources generalist. Prior to 2017 Tim served as SVP, Human Resources for Newland. Before joining Newland, Tim was the Director of Human Resources for Dallas-based developer Terrabrook. Before this, he served as Director of Human Resources for Westbrook Partners, Terrabrook’s golf business.
Tim is a full member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Community Development Council (Gold Flight). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the North San Diego Business Chamber.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
