Tanya has over 17 years of experience in the real estate industry skilled in land acquisition and development, and mixed-use and master-planned community management and operations. She joined Newland in 2014 as a project manager moving her way up to Director of Residential Sales, where she was primarily responsible for revenue generation, builder relations, and community growth for Briar Chapel and Wendell Falls in the Raleigh market.
Before joining Newland, Tanya came from the home-building side of the industry working in a variety of roles in land acquisition, feasibility analysis, entitlements, land development, finance, and strategic planning leadership roles with KB Home and Lennar.
Tanya is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a concentration in Business Finance. Tanya is a licensed real estate Broker in Charge in the state of North Carolina, a member of the Women’s Housing Leadership Group (WHLG), a member of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh – Wake County and the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, a member of the Professional Women in Building (PWB) of the Triangle, a member of the Triangle Community Coalition (TCC) and a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
