Newland Participates in JBREC New Home Insights Podcast

John Burns Real Estate Consulting New Home Insights podcast interviewed three panelists with communities making 2020's Top 50 Best-Selling Master-Planned Communities to better understand their sales success and gain insights for listeners. Newland Vice President of Customer and Market Research Peter Dennehy shared that in 2020 community matters most for Newland buyers with a desire for planned amenities and new construction options. Dennehy went on to say that low-interest rates were helpful, but the majority of the projects that made the top 50 list had good segmentation with lots of product offerings including homes that targeted first-time homebuyers.

Five Newland communities landed on the John Burns Real Estate Consulting's Top 50 Master-Planned Communities of 2020 which required a selling threshold of 437 homes—the highest in the survey's ten years. While newcomers Green Home Builder's Community of the Year Elyson by Newland, based in the Houston MSA, and Nexton in Charleston, also NAHB's best master-planned community nationally, joined the Top 50 at #39 and #47, respectively.
